By "contents" we understand the household effects present in the vessel: clothing, cook's utensils, bed clothes, books, telephone and the like. For these "contents" the policy shall state a separate insured amount (20% of the insured amount for the vessel) for which no premium shall be charged.
What has to be considered contents?
Items such as nautical and electronic equipment and other navigational aids, sails, rescue and safety devices, special sailing clothes, nautical maps and guides, mooring ropes and fenders are considered "equipment". Its value is considered included in the insured amount for "vessel, engine(s) and equipment".
